Currently, donations made to Live For KWags go to help fund brain cancer research and treatments at the UW School Of Medicine and Public Health's Human Oncology department in Madison, WI and support our fundraising events. The Department of Human Oncology works in tandem with The University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center (UWCCC), which holds the unique distinction of being the only comprehensive cancer center in Wisconsin, as designated by the National Cancer Institute, the lead federal agency for cancer research. 100% of the donations we send to the the Department of Human Oncology go directly to funding actual brain cancer research and treatment initiatives instead of administrative costs. We feel this is the best use of the money as funding research is critical for helping treatment and cure research continue.
